2007 Competition Results
World Junior Championships – Portugal – September 25
Both Nichole and Marisa qualified for this event but were unable to attend due to injuries and other factors. Next year!
World Youth A Championships – South Africa – August 27
Marisa qualified for this competition but was unable to attend due to injuries. But John was able to compete. This was the first time that the UIPM tried the combined run/shoot competition. They held the traditional event on the first day, followed by the run/shoot on the second day. John dramatically moved up in the rankings in the run/shoot competition, while many others moved down.
We’re told that most competitions will follow this format in 2008.

US Pony Club Championships
Most of our club were introduced to pentathlon through Pony Club, which sponsors a sport called tetrathlon which has all elements of modern pentathlon except the fencing. National championships are held in Pony Club every three years. Again, WCP members garnered top spots.
